Some Distinctive Physical Characteristics of Gymnastics Players Art for Young People

Abstract

    The aim of the research is to identify the elements of physical fitness characteristic of the group of distinguished players and the group of non-distinguished players in the gymnastics game, and to reach a discrimination function that has the ability to predict the group of distinguished players in the gymnastics game, and the researchers used the descriptive approach in the survey method, if the research sample included (10) players Those who train in the Gymnastics Training Center (affiliated to the Directorate of Sports and Scout Activity in Dhi Qar Governorate), whose ages ranged between (11-13) years, and the sample constitutes (100%) of the research community.


    The success of the equation in the classification (91,66) in the group of distinguished players and the percentage (100%) in the group of non-distinguished players according to their measurements in the variables of the discrimination equation, and the most important recommendations of the research is that it contributes to testing the best players to practice sports activities and using the equation that resulted from the study Classification among players in terms of skill, as well as the possibility of using them in prediction.
