Abstract

The research aimed to: prepare exercises using rubber ropes with high resistance to develop the strength distinguished by speed and some offensive skills among handball players. The research population was determined by the players of the Soran Handball Club team for applicants, and the sample was chosen intentionally and consisted of (16) players, representing a percentage of (80%). From the research community, the researchers concluded that there was a significant improvement in all the physical variables under study as a result of the exercises using rubber ropes with high resistances, and in a positive way, and this was shown by the results of the post-tests of the research sample. The researchers recommended encouraging work using exercises with rubber ropes with high resistances during the special preparation period, which is one of the reasons for Developing physical and skill variables in handball
