The impact of interactive teaching strategies on convergent thinking and learning the skills of preparation and reception of transmission for second-year middle school students

Abstract
The importance of this research lies in its use of the interactive learning strategy, a component of active learning, to identify its impact on convergent thinking and the development of preparation and transmission skills among 100 second-year intermediate students from five classes during the 2024-2025 academic year. The researcher employed an experimental approach with two equivalent groups, deemed suitable for implementing the field procedures. The research sample consisted of 45 students, selected randomly from classes D and E. Class D became the experimental group, while class E served as the control group. The necessary tools and equipment were utilized in the research and its implementation steps, which included developing the interactive learning strategy, conducting a pilot study, and administering the main field experiment, which involved pre-tests, the application of the interactive learning strategy, and post-tests. The researcher concluded that students need the interactive learning strategy (for active learning) to help them develop convergent thinking and acquire preparation and transmission skills. The researcher recommends utilizing this interactive learning strategy. Modern interactive methods in lectures play a significant role in convergent thinking and learning the skills of setting up and receiving serves in volleyball.
