Abstract

The study aimed to identify the relationship between the amount of movement for the rise phase and its relationship to the kinematic variables and the accuracy of shooting by jumping high. The method used was the descriptive method using the survey method to solve the research problem, as the sample was the handball players in the Basra Municipality Club for the 2023-2024 sports season. The researchers concluded that there is a significant direct correlation between the amount of movement for the rise phase and the studied biokinematic variables. The researchers also recommended emphasizing the importance of biokinematic variables in learning and training handball skills, especially the skill of shooting by jumping high.
