The effect of a self-regulated educational curriculum in learning some basic skills for students in tennis

Abstract

The study aimed to prepare an educational curriculum using the self-organized method in learning some basic skills for students in tennis, and to identify the effect of the educational curriculum using the self-organized method in learning some basic skills for students in tennis. The researcher used the experimental method in the style of two equal groups to suit the nature of the research, and to determine the research community. With (70) students in the third stage at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Babylon for the academic year 2022-2023 AD, the researcher concluded: Using the self-organized method achieved better learning than the usual curriculum in learning tennis skills (forehand, backhand, and serve), and recommended: Using the proposed educational curriculum to teach some basic skills: learning tennis skills (forehand, backhand, and serve).
