Abstract

Physical activity is a humanitarian process that aims in its entirety to create the strong personality of the emerging and formal education that takes from the school and its means and always seeks to develop its methods and means and those working in the educational field to achieve these goals. As long as the student is one of the basic elements in the educational process besides the curriculum and teacher and his role remains the main and active role in that process and no educational system can dispense with the role of the student, the student is the role or the active component in the educational process and on his success and failure will depend on the nature of education. The problem of research lies in the large numbers in classes and how they are managed and their impact on the educational process, as it is one of the factors affecting the student's success and superiority in his studies or physical activity, because good numbers in the classes contribute effectively to recreation and the development of student innovation in physical activity. In addition to preparing students in a single class, it is a strong motivation for the student to exert effort and excellence in that study.

The study aimed to:

1-Designing and codifying a scale to evaluate the management of large classes to exploit the actual activity practiced for the lesson from the teachers point of view.

2-Find criteria (scores and standard levels) for the designed scale.

As for the research fields, it included the human field represented by the teachers of the General Directorate of Education in DhiQar Governorate, and specifies the time domain in the academic year (2018-2019) while the spatial field was in schools, and the researchers used the descriptive approach, and the research community consisted of (300) teachers And a school in the governorate of DhiQar and the research sample consisted of (120) teachers, and the researchers concluded:

1-A design and standardization scale has been reached to assess the management of large classes to exploit the actual activity of the lesson from the teachers ’point of view.

2-Find criteria (scores and levels) for the designed scale that served as the objective criterion for evaluating the research community.

3-The most common problems in controlling the large classes that high school teachers suffer from are the large number of students in one class, which negatively affects the progress of the learning and teaching process
