Abstract

The current study aims to identify the correlation between arm coordination and explosive power in volleyball smashing accuracy. The researchers used a descriptive approach and two different methods: a survey study, which collected data on arm coordination, explosive power, and volleyball smashing accuracy; and a correlational study, which explored the correlation between arm coordination and explosive power with volleyball smashing accuracy. The research population consisted of young volleyball players from clubs in Muthanna Governorate participating in the Governorate League for the 2024-2025 sports season.

After obtaining the results, the researchers used the SPSS statistical program to present and analyze the results. They concluded that the tests used were able to measure what they were intended to achieve. Accordingly, they recommended that coaches focus on explosive power and arm coordination training, given their significant correlation with volleyball smashing accuracy.
