The Effect of the Dual Coding Strategy on Teaching Some Compound Skills Basketball Students

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the impact of the dual coding strategy on teaching certain complex basketball skills to students. The experimental method was used, and the sample consisted of first-year students at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Basra. The study concluded that the dual coding strategy is important and fundamental in teaching certain complex basketball skills to students. The most important recommendation is to adopt the dual coding strategy, given its importance and fundamental role in teaching certain complex basketball skills to students.
