Abstract
Psychological stress is one of the most important topics in sports psychology. It is considered to be one of the most important psychological factors affecting the performance of athletes in the exercise of sports in general and weight lifting in particular, and occupies the subject of the main focus in the impact on psychological and physical functions or both.
research goals
1-Building and standardizing the psychological stress scale during the sports competition for weightlifting.
2-Identify the psychological tension in the weightlifters in the sports competition.
3-Relation of psychological stress to athletic achievement in the sports competition in weight lifting.
The most important conclusions: the psychological stress gauge is appropriate for weightlifts in all weights in Iraq and enjoy the conditions of science.
