The effect of Rondo exercises in developing some basic skills for futsal players under the age of 18

Abstract

The study aimed to: prepare exercises using the Rondo method. The experimental method was used in their current study to suit the nature of the research problem. The research sample was the Water Resources Club players, numbering (10) players who participated in the Iraqi Futsal League. Tests were conducted on them and the training curriculum was applied during the preparation period of (8) weeks, implemented at a rate of (3) units per week. The duration of the exercises was (50) minutes using the Rondo method. The researchers concluded that the exercises implemented using the Rondo method helped develop some basic skills for the research sample members. They also recommended: paying attention to using exercises using the (Rondo) method according to scientific training foundations to raise the efficiency of futsal players during training and competitions, and urging coaches to adopt these exercises, especially with young age groups such as cubs and juniors
