Perseverance and perseverance and its relationship to competitive behavior

Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the level of persistence, perseverance and competitive behavior of the players of the Premier League volleyball clubs in Iraq, as well as to identify the relationship between them. ) players representing (10) teams out of (14) teams and their percentage was (71.42%), and the sample was divided randomly into a building sample of (90) players and an application sample of (60) players.By finding the value of the Pearson correlation coefficient between persistence, perseverance and competitive behavior, it was found that there was a high correlation between the two variables under consideration. The most important recommendations are the adoption of these two scales to measure persistence, perseverance and competitive behavior of volleyball players, and the need for there to be a psychological specialist for each team, especially high-level players, who is responsible and supervising the application of psychological programs.
