Abstract

The aim of the research was to: - Identify the effect of the brainstorming strategy (in the simile method) on learning some types of basketball shooting for students. The sample of the research were first-year students in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences - University of Basra, where the researcher used the experimental method with a design of two equal (control) groups. (and experimental) and the SPSS system was relied upon to find the data. Accordingly, it was concluded: The brainstorming strategy (by the simile method) is important in raising the level of learning for some types of basketball shooting for students. He recommended adopting the brainstorming strategy (by the simile method) because of its importance in raising the level of learning for some. Types of basketball shots for students.
