The effect of special exercises using multimedia in teaching students to perform the free swimming activity

Abstract

The research aimed to: - Prepare special exercises using multimedia in teaching students to perform the freestyle swimming event and to know the effect of special multimedia exercises in teaching students to perform the freestyle swimming event. The researcher used the experimental method in the manner of two (equal) groups. The research sample was first-year students at the University of Babylon/College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. The researcher concluded that the exercises for using multimedia and educational aids had an effective and positive role in enabling the experimental group to learn the basic skills in Freestyle swimming, and recommended adopting exercises to use multimedia and educational means when learning different levels of freestyle swimming activity
