Analysis of handball strategies for the Iraqi League 2022

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to collect and analyze information about the performance rates of organized and blitz attacks among players in the Iraqi Handball League 2022. Based on the research results, the following conclusions were drawn. First: The Popular Mobilization Club achieved a high percentage of 35.56% during the league, which was the highest percentage among the participating clubs, followed by the Diyala Club, as it achieved a percentage of 32.65%, and it was also a high percentage compared to the competing clubs, followed by the Basra Municipality Club, as it achieved a good percentage, which was 32.56% among the clubs. Second: The clubs that achieved the lowest percentage among the competing clubs in implementing the blitz performance was Karbala Club, which achieved a percentage of 15.56%, then it was followed by Al-Taawoun Club, with a percentage of 19.15%, and then it was followed by Al-Sulaymaniyah Club, with a percentage of 20.93%. Third: The clubs that achieved a high percentage of organized attack performance were the Popular Mobilization Club, with a percentage of 35.56%, followed by the Basra Municipality Club, with a percentage of 34.88%, and then Diyala Club, with a percentage of 32.26%. Fourth: The clubs that achieved the lowest percentage in organized attack were Karbala Club, which achieved a percentage of 15.56%, followed by Sulaymaniyah Club, which achieved a percentage of 18.60%, then the Arabian Gulf Club, which achieved a percentage of 17.82%. To conduct an in-depth analysis of the game strategy, it is considered necessary to understand the characteristics of the individual player’s performance, and this will be followed. Gather information for future follow-up research.
