The effectiveness of sports activities in enhancing social communication: a field study on a sample of war-wounded beneficiaries of the Wounded Homeland project

Abstract
This study aims to find out the extent of the sports activities effectiveness in enhancing social communication among a sample of war wounded beneficiaries of Jarih Watan project, the descriptive approach was adopted by distributing a research questionnaire to an appropriate sample of war-wounded beneficiaries of the Jarih Watan Project in Syria, numbering (50) individuals, of which (48) questionnaires were retrieved, valid for analysis, with a recovery rate of (96%). , In light of this, data was collected and analyzed and hypotheses tested using the SPSS statistical package for social sciences, the most important of result is: There is a high level of evaluation for each of the sports activities implemented in the Jreeh Watan project, and social communication among the respondents. Also there is a weak positive effect of statistical significance for sports activities in enhancing social contact, which explains a rate of 10.5%.
The concluded with a set of recommendations, enhancing attention to the war-wounded and attracting them to participate in sports activities in the project for its contribution to their social rehabilitation and strengthening their connection with societ
