Abstract

This study aims to find out the extent of the sports activities effectiveness in enhancing social communication among a sample of war wounded beneficiaries of Federation of Special Sports in Syria and Jarih Al-Watan project.  To achieve the study objectives, the descriptive approach was adopted by distributing a research questionnaire to an appropriate sample of war-wounded beneficiaries of the Jarih Al-Watan Project in Syria, numbering (50) individuals, of which (48) questionnaires were retrieved, valid for analysis, with a recovery rate of (96%). , In light of this, data was collected and analyzed and hypotheses tested using the SPSS statistical package for social sciences. The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: There is a high level of evaluation for each of the sports activities implemented in the Jarih Al-Watan project, and social communication among the respondents. The results of the study also showed that there is a weak positive effect of statistical significance for sports activities in enhancing social contact, which explains a rate of 10.5%.


The study concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which is enhancing sport attention to the war-wounded in the Federation of Special Sports in Syria beneficiaries of Jarih Al-Watan Project .by attracting them to participate in sports activities for its contribution to their social rehabilitation and strengthening their connection with society.
