Abstract

The aim of this research was to identify the effectiveness of using the method of teaching peers on the level of performance of the skill in the handball of students in the college of Physical Education and Sports Sciences / University of Karbala.The study sample consisted of (30) students of the second stage in the college of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. The research sample was divided into two equal groups, the first one was control and the other experimental the number of each group (15) students. The control group used the imperative method. The experimental group used the method of teaching peers.The researcher used statistical methods (mediator, standard deviation, Lukoxin test, Mann and witny test) to analyze the results. The most prominent results were:


1 - Both methods of imperative and peers contribute to learning and gaining the skill of the potted in the handball.


2 - The method of teaching peers contributes better than the method of imperative and education in learning and gaining the skill of the potted in handball.


3 - The method of teaching peers is more effective in gaining the learners potted in handball.
