Abstract

The importance of the research came in highlight on one of the important skills in the game of volleyball by delving into the steps to approach the spike, which depends on the speed of those steps in achieving a high ideal rise that allows the player to carry out the offensive duty with perfect accuracy and skill, and that the problem was in the difference The level of elite club players in performing this skill, which is considered the basis for winning because of its importance in scoring direct points, so the research aimed to identify the relationship between linear momentum and biomechanical variables and the performance accuracy of the spike skill of the elite club players in volleyball, and the researchers concluded that The linear motion momentum of the approaching steps has an effect on some biomechanical variables to varying degrees according to the type of performance. The recommendation was made to the need to develop the motor speed because of its role in raising the values of the linear motor momentum in order to reach the correct technical performance of the players.
