Studying the method of leadership according to the theory of a great man and its relation to the quality of decision making for the Scout leaders in Sulaymaniyah governorate

Abstract

The subject of leadership has been given great attention by researchers in various fields and disciplines and the development of many theories in this area , including the theory of personality and the theory of the great man through the theories of fixed models and position.

Sports education is characterized by different and different leadership positions in terms of the type and type of sports activity practiced and the conditions of its practice and the influence of internal and external positions. Scout education is one of the most popular among the students of the faculties of physical education and the institutes of physical education. It requires efficient management and leadership to lead this activity, Important in guidance and decision - making in training and scout memorabilia.

The research also seeks to identify points of difference that show the difference between the leadership styles of these leaders and study the leadership style according to the position theory and its relation to the quality of decision making.

Research Sample: The research community consists of the Scout leaders in SulaymaniyahGovernorate; the researcher used the descriptive method in the survey method to fit it with the research.

The research concludes that most Scout leaders give appropriate attention to the leadership style that is concerned with performance and relationships.

There are no significant differences between the Scout leaders in the leadership style that is concerned with performance and the leadership style that is interested in relations and style that combines performance and relations together.

The researcher recommends that the Scouts leaders work on the bonds of friendship and love between them and the Scouts through making the right decision and communication, and prepare the leaders correctly through training courses for their continuous participation in courses and camps.
