Abstract

The study aimed to know the effect of skill exercises in the (Rondo) style in developing tactical behavior, short handling skills, ball control and football shooting for young players. (4) goalkeepers and two injured players were excluded, 18 players remained with a rate of 81.81% of the research community. They were randomly distributed by lottery into two groups, an experimental group and a control group. The study procedures were applied to them. Pre-tests were conducted for both groups to measure the tactical behavior and skills under study. The experimental group performed the skillful exercises prepared by the researchers, while the control sample continued under the trainer's program. The difference was only in the exercises of the main part of the training units, while the other parts remained similar (preparatory - final). The program continued for eight weeks, after which the researchers conducted the same post-tests that were used in the pre-tests and the study of the statistical differences between the two tests and their interpretation. However, the conclusions were : that the skillful exercises in the (rondo) method made a great deal in the development of tactical behavior and the skills under study (short handling, ball control and shooting) among the players of the experimental group, and the amount of development in the abilities and skills under study was at a greater rate among the players of the group The researchers recommended to the need to pay more attention to the tactical aspect of football players because it is the basis for the success of the application of training plans and goals.
