The Effectiveness of Management by Objectives as an Entrance for the Development of Sports Activity Management Among Workers in the Sports Activity’s Units in the Universities of Erbil Governorate

Abstract
This study aims to identify the effectiveness of management by objectives as an entrance for the development of sports activity management in the sports activity’s units in the universities of Erbil Governorate. To achieve this goal, the descriptive analytical approach was used. The study population consisted of workers in the sports activity’s units in the universities of Erbil Governorate, whose number was (97). The questionnaire is a main tool for this purpose and is applied to the study sample numbered (35) workers. The researcher used the appropriate statistical methods to analyze and treat the data statistically, and the (SPSS) program is used. The study concluded that there is a possibility to apply the management by objectives model in the sports activity’s units in the universities of Erbil Governorate to a medium degree. The researcher recommended enhancing the principles of management by objectives, as it is an effective management method that works to increase the degree of participation of subordinates in the decision-making process.
