Health Behavior and Its Relationship to Some Chronic Diseases for the Population of Soran

Abstract
The study aimed to identify the analysis of healthy behavior and its relationship to some chronic diseases (heart diseases, high blood pressure, stomach and intestine diseases, chronic respiratory diseases, diabetes, chronic back pain, knee pain). For the research sample (population of the city of Soran).
The descriptive approach was used in the survey method due to its relevance to the research objectives. The research sample included the residents of the city of Soran (males and females), which numbered (188) individuals, (113) males and (75) females, and the tests were based on the health behavior scale and knowledge of the incidence of one of the chronic diseases (heart diseases, high blood pressure, diseases stomach and intestines, chronic respiratory diseases, diabetes, chronic back pain).
The researcher used the statistical analysis of the results by the descriptive and inferential statistics method. The statistics included a Pearson correlation coefficient test for the relationship between healthy behavior and chronic diseases. It was calculated by means of.
The results showed the presence of levels in the degree of (health behavior) between the research sample and its relationship to some chronic diseases, the presence of different levels in the degree of health behavior among the research sample according to (type of job or work), where the degrees of the health behavior scale were weak and less than the hypothetical average of the scale for each From (university graduate, teacher, school teacher, engineer, earner), and higher levels than the hypothetical mean of the scale appeared for each of (university student, university teacher, employee). And it appeared that there were low levels in the degrees of health behavior according to the type (sex) of the research sample. It also appeared that there were low levels of health behavior scores according to the type (age group) of the research sample. There was also a relationship, but weak, between the scores of the health behavior scale according to the sample's exposure to some chronic diseases of the research sample. The researcher also recommended the necessity of conducting similar research on society in different social strata. And the need to disseminate cultural and health information, especially nutritional and nutritional information, through all media fields, to increase the individual's knowledge of the quality of healthy nutrition. Work to educate the community about exposure to serious and chronic diseases caused by improper nutrition. And opening courses to disseminate information on how to deal with chronic diseases for the individual and the family, so that the individual can enjoy a semi-stable life and live with the disease through the years.
