Abstract

Boxing is one of the individual sports characterized by violence and the way to win the opponent is to score the largest number of points or drop by a knockout and here the boxer to hurt the opponent in accordance with the law to be able to win the landing, which creates pressure on the boxer whether these pressures internal or And some of these pressures can affect him negatively and significantly was inevitably the superior boxer or advanced boxer to have some personal characteristics that reduce these pressures and the most powerful and these features are (psychological rigidity) that make From boxer to processions and continuous in to Bits without any effect of those pressures that are exposedThe researchers deliberately constructed two measures that measure both psychological stress and psychological rigidity and the relationship between them.The researchers also used the descriptive method in the method of surveying, correlative relations and standard studies, in order to suit the research objectives and the nature of the problem to be studied. The research society was chosen in a deliberate manner. They are the advanced boxers in the Basra clubs. The results of the statistical procedures for the extraction of indicators of honesty, consistency and objectivity and based on the results obtained, which showed multiple levels in the psychological pressure of advanced boxers and most of them occurred at the level of (average).
