Feeling of self and its relationship to the position of control and the level of ambition among female students of some colleges of physical education and sports sciences in the Kurdistan Region – Iraq

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the level of self-feeling among female students of some of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of (Salah al-Din - Sulaymaniyah - Halabja), and the level of the two psychological variables (the position of control and the level of ambition), in addition to identifying the correlation between self-feeling and variables The researcher used a number of statistical means to treat the results obtained, such as the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and correlation coefficient to study this problem on the scale of (self-feeling) and two scales (control site and level of ambition). Simplex - Pearson. After presenting the results and discussing them, the researcher reached a number of conclusions, including that it appeared through the results that the degree of (self-feeling and position of control) for the students is less than the hypothetical average. Ambition), and the existence of a non-significant correlation between self-feeling and the variable under study (the position of control and the level of ambition), and accordingly the researcher recommends working on educational educational courses to improve the level of self-feeling and the position of control among students of the Faculties of Physical Education and Sports Sciences in the Kurdistan Region. Iraq. And educating students through lessons or counseling, that the ambition is commensurate with the capabilities of the students. Because the high level of ambition without the availability of ability affects mental health. Increase self-confidence and help them to express their opinions and not to be mocked, and the need to help the students to be internally controlled by relying on   themselves.
