The effect of a psychomotor program proposed to improve the perception of drug addicts

Abstract

The study aims to show the effect of a psychotherapy program proposed to improve the kinesthetic perception in  drug addicts . In this study , the researchers used the experimental method ,they have designed two groups ( the experimental and the control ) while   measuring the pre and posttest for both,. the researchers did such by using elaborate test  in order to recognize the  perception, the program was designed to evaluate many variables such as ( field of view, divided attention ,and reaction time ) . As well as , a psychomotor program has also been prepared according to scientific bases to improve the variables under consideration. The research sample conducted in an inmate drug clinic (rehabilitation of drug addicts ) who were (31) inmates ,have been divided into (15) for experimental and (16) for control .


The results of  the  study showed to exist of a significant statistical differences in peripheral perception variables  between the pre and posttest for both groups ( the experimental and control) in favor of experimental group . The researchers has also recommended to depend the proposed program in addiction healing clinic to improve the peripheral perception of the patient , they also recommended to do a researches deal with  the effect of this program with other motor programs in motor perception of addicts .
