Abstract
The current system for admitting students to the Faculty of Physical Education involves a series of physical and skill tests. Students who pass these tests are then eligible to compete for admission to the Faculty of Physical Education. Through her work in the field of physical education and student admissions at the Faculty of Physical Education, the researcher observed that the scores of applicants have begun to decline. Students scoring below the passing grade (50) are being admitted to the faculty due to the small number of students who pass these tests. Furthermore, the current standards lack specific scores that are not included in the standardized test booklet. Consequently, the assessment of these scores is left to the discretion of those responsible for setting the standardized scores. For example, in the abdominal muscle test, 6 points are awarded for 28 repetitions and 7 points for 32. What would a player receive if they achieved 29, 30, or 31 repetitions? It is well-known that it is essential to review all tests after a certain period of time, and the current physical tests have remained unchanged for over twenty years. Therefore, the researcher decided to conduct this study to establish new standardized scores that align with the current capabilities and potential of students.
