Predict decision-making in the sense of emotional intelligence among the first-class footballers in the southern region of Iraq

Abstract

The importance of the research lies in the formation of a predictive function in which the decision-makers of football in Iraq can be predicted in terms of legal knowledge and emotional intelligence, which contributes to the development of the football game and as a means adopted by the Iraqi Football Association's referees' committee to select and select referees.


The problem of research was crystallized in the light of the many mistakes committed by the referees in the Iraqi league in terms of discrimination and make the right decision for each error, which determines the degree of evaluation of their technical performance, which is reflected on the results of matches, all these reasons prompted the researchers to generate the idea of study In an attempt to find a scientific method for selecting and selecting rulers through the development of a predictive equation in which decision-making can be predicted by rulers in terms of legal knowledge and emotional intelligence.


The study aimed to identify the percentage of contribution (emotional intelligence and legal knowledge) in the decision-making, and the relationship between (emotional intelligence and legal knowledge) decision-making by the rulers of the first degree of football in Iraq, and devising a predictive equation for decision-making in terms of emotional intelligence and legal knowledge.


The researchers concluded that there was a statistically significant correlation between emotional intelligence and legal knowledge in decision-making by referees, predictability of decision-making in the level of Iraq's top footballers and recommending predictive equation.
