The Effect of Special Exercises on Some Physical and Kinematic Variables and Achievement in the 400-meter Running Event

Abstract
This research aims to prepare a proposed training curriculum, and to identify the effect of the proposed training curriculum on some kinematic variables and performance in the 400-meter sprint for the research sample. Research Community and Sample: The research community was deliberately selected, consisting of players from the Specialized School for Talented Sports for Track and Field Games in Maysan Governorate, aged 14-16 years, for the 400-meter running event for the 2019 sports year. Their number was (8) players, and the research sample was (6) players. Two players were excluded due to the pilot study being conducted on them, and they constituted (75%). From the original community. The most important conclusions are that the suggested exercises have clearly and effectively contributed to developing stride time and the suggested exercises had a clear impact on developing the speed rate as well as stride length. The most important recommendations were that the researcher recommends that Iraqi trainers rely on Emphasis is placed on modern, effective training methods and their inclusion in training programs. It is also important to emphasize the development of kinematic variables during training for the 400m sprint.
