Physical education, being one of the most prominent fields of human knowledge, continues to evolve based on scientific research principles. The chapter also explored the role and importance of generative learning strategies in teaching some basic basketball skills. The third chapter employed an experimental method with equivalent groups. The research population consisted of first-year students at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Karbala. The research sample comprised (16) students distributed across the courts of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Karbala. Based on the results of the statistical analysis of the data and the study of the relationship between the variables, the most important conclusions were reached: identifying the relationship between generative learning strategies and some basic basketball skills, and establishing quantitative estimates for each skill based on the studied variables among the first-year students at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences.
