Use of rehabilitation program by using physical therapies to rehabilitate wrist joint injury for fencing players (disabilities)on wheelchairs

Abstract

The main problem is the injuries of muscles for swordsmen ,and The most common problem is the tear of the wrist joint , especially during attack and defense against a competitor, which changes the course of the kinetic range of the blade and causes injury to the wrist blade ,wheelchair fencing also requires precise techniques in performing distinctive movements that require strength ,speed and flexibility in which muscle injuries may occur. The research wants to study this problem and resolve it swordsmen on wheelchairs are disabled , and research aims to identify the impact of the rehabilitation program using physical therapy methods and exercises used to rehabilitate the wrist joint ,and prepare a rehabilitation program for fencing players on wheelchairs using physical therapy methods to rehabilitate the wrist joint , a sample of the research was  in an intentional manner from the swordsmen who have injuries to the( wrist ) , where the number of (4) injured swordsmen and injuries were diagnosed by the treating doctor and specialist in physical therapy and rehabilitation , the research said that the rehabilitation program had a positive effect on regaining motor range and had a positive effect on shortening time and effort . the research recommended using  exercises qualification of swordsmen to maintain wrist motor range .swordsmen also recommended period of rest and not training until full recovery to avoid repeat injury.
