Abstract

The importance of this research lies in raising the level of physical endurance in basketball through the use of correct and appropriate training that meets the demands of the game and competition. It also aims to provide basketball coaches with scientific information about the role of endurance training and session difficulty in improving the physical and technical performance of players under 18 years of age throughout the game without reaching fatigue. The main objectives of this research were: to identify the effect of competitive training sessions of varying difficulty on developing strength and speed endurance in basketball players under 18 years of age. The experimental method was used, and the research sample consisted of basketball players under 18 years of age. After implementing competitive exercises, the most important conclusions were reached: The competitive exercises used and standardized according to the difficulty of the training unit have a clear effect on raising the level of physical performance endurance (strength endurance and speed endurance) and skill performance endurance (offensive and defensive) in basketball under 18 years of age. Therefore, it was recommended that the competitive exercises used and standardized according to the difficulty of the training unit be adopted in the basketball coaches' program for under 18-year-olds due to their clear effect on raising the level of physical performance endurance (strength endurance and speed endurance) and skill performance endurance (offensive and defensive.
