Measuring job satisfaction among individual and team sports coaches in youth and sports forums in Dhi Qar

Abstract
This research aims to measure job satisfaction among individual and team sports coaches working in youth and sports centers in Dhi Qar Governorate, and to identify differences in job satisfaction levels between these coaches. The researcher used a descriptive-analytical approach, deemed most suitable for the nature of the research. A questionnaire was designed as the primary data collection tool, covering several areas such as satisfaction with salaries, work environment, relationships with colleagues and management, career development opportunities, and others. The questionnaire was distributed to a sample of coaches working in youth and sports centers in Dhi Qar Governorate.
The research sample consisted of coaches of individual sports, such as athletics, and team sports, such as football, at youth and sports centers in Dhi Qar. The results showed that the level of job satisfaction among coaches of individual and team sports was generally average, with some aspects needing improvement, such as salaries and career development opportunities. There were no statistically significant differences in job satisfaction levels between coaches of individual and team sports, indicating that the nature of the sport (individual or team) does not significantly affect job satisfaction. The researchers recommended improving the salary and incentive system for coaches of individual and team sports to enhance job satisfaction, providing training and development opportunities to increase their efficiency and motivation, improving the work environment, and providing the necessary tools and facilities to ensure better coach performance
