The coach's Art of Match Management and Its Role in fostering organizational trust among handball players

Abstract

The researchers addressed in the .first chapter the. significance of the study, which lies in the need to understand the coach’s art, of match management and its. role in fostering organizational trust among players. The research problem is that the coach’s role is not confined solely to physical technical, and tactical aspects, it also includes cultivating players’ trust-an aspect. that is often neglected leading to a general .decline in performance levels.The study aimed to identify the level of match-management competence among coaches and the level of organizational trust among handball players, as well as to. examine the relationship between the two scales. chapter two discussed the key terms related to the research topic. Chapter Three presented the methodology and field procedures, where the researchers Employed the descriptive method. The research sample consisted of handball players participating in the Iraqi Elite League, and the field procedures Involved constructing the two scales. establishing standard scores, and determining normative levels. Chapter Four addressed the discussion of the results. In Chapter Five, the researchers concluded by identifying the levels of both scales and determining the relationship between them. As for the recommendations the researchers advise generalizing the Study’s findings to handball clubs and conducting similar studies in other team sports.
