Abstract

The research aims to: identify the role of physical education classes in motivating and enhancing volunteer work among intermediate school students from the perspective of the subject's teachers in some schools in Maysan Governorate. The research covered field research procedures, where the researcher used the descriptive approach as it was the appropriate method for the research problem. The research sample was part of the research community, which consisted of (55) intermediate school students in some schools in the center of Maysan Governorate, with a sample size of (30) students. The researcher used the SPSS statistical package to process the raw data from the research sample. This included presenting, analyzing, and discussing the results. After completing the research procedures, the researcher processed the results statistically and then discussed the results. The most important conclusions and recommendations were established, as there is a significant correlation between the role of physical education classes in motivating and enhancing volunteer work among intermediate school students. Recommendations require physical education teachers to emphasize teamwork and volunteer work among students in order to build a cooperative and cohesive community that is a partner in the development and construction of the nation.
