Abstract

The research aimed to identify the relationship between general and specific neuromuscular coordination and cognitive ability to throw in fencing. A descriptive approach was used to suit the nature and problem of the research. The research sample, which consisted of (17) students, represented (50%) of the total population. After completing the tests and obtaining the results, they were processed using the statistical program (SPSS). The researchers concluded that there is a correlation between the two types of coordination and cognitive ability to throw. The researchers recommend paying attention to specific coordination when teaching the skill of throwing in foil fencing.
