The Effect of Using Some Modern Techniques on the Accuracy of the Forehand and Backhand Swings of Wheelchair Badminton Players
Main Article Content
Abstract
The research aimed to identify the extent of the impact of using some modern techniques in training and measuring the accuracy of the forehand and backhand strokes of wheelchair badminton players. The researchers used the experimental method with a well-designed two equivalent groups (experimental and control) with a pre-test and a post-test to suit the nature of the problem to be studied. The research community was defined as the players of the Iraqi national wheelchair badminton team intentionally, numbering (4) players, who represent the selected sample (100%) of the research community. The researchers used the statistical package (SPSS) to process the research results. The research results showed the presence of significant differences between the control and experimental groups in the post-tests in favor of the experimental group. The researchers recommended adopting modern techniques during training to develop the level of performance for the forehand and backhand strokes, due to their significant impact on the accuracy of performance.
