Construction and standardization of the anterior trunk flexibility test for athletes using the designed device
Main Article Content
Abstract
The aim of this research was to develop and standardize a test to measure trunk flexibility for athletes. The researchers used a descriptive approach due to its suitability to the nature of the research problem. The research population comprised players from the Najaf Ashraf Club for the 2024-2025 season, competing in football, track and field, and judo. The conclusions revealed the possibility of testing trunk flexibility using a device designed by the researchers. The device has the ability to discriminate between weak and high-achieving students in the research sample. The recommendations included the use of the device designed to test anterior trunk flexibility and the possibility of conducting similar studies on different activities and age groups
