Trends and Future of Professional Football Club Players in Palestine After the October 7 War/2023: A Research on Income Sources and Professional Challenges

Abstract
The aim of the research is to identify the trends and future of professional football club players in Palestine after the October 7, 2023 war in terms of income sources and the professional challenges they face. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach due to its suitability for the research purposes. The research was conducted on a simple random sample of (84) professional club players in the West Bank. For the purposes of collecting data, the researcher designed a research tool to measure the trends and future of professional football club players in Palestine after the October 7, 2023 war, consisting of multiple-choice questions. The researcher concluded that the highest source of income for a professional player is the club salary, with a frequency of (53), and the lowest source of income for the player was from other work, government support, or organizations, with a frequency of (10). The researcher recommends providing direct financial support to professional players by government agencies and the private sector in order to cover part of the economic challenges facing players after their income decreased due to the current circumstances
