Abstract

    The aim of the research was to identify intellectual stagnation among fourth-year female students in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. The method used in the study was the descriptive method with the survey method to suit the nature of the research individuals. The research sample was represented by fourth-year female students at the University of Basra / College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. The research tool was the preparation of scales. The researchers concluded that some female students unconsciously express the thinking that dominates them, which agrees with or belongs to feelings of intellectual stagnation. The researchers also recommended enhancing self-confidence and creating a state of dialogue within the educational situation at the university in a manner consistent with the spirit of the times and concepts.
