The effect of competitive skill exercises on learning scouting course skills for the Girl Guides stage in the Scouting movement

Abstract

The aim of the research was to identify the impact of skill exercises using the competitive method on learning scouting course skills. The researcher used the experimental method because it is appropriate for the nature of the problem to be solved. The research sample consisted of the Girl Guides Scout Group (Al-Azhar Intermediate School for Girls), numbering (24) guides. Based on the research results, the researcher reached the following conclusions: The competitive method contributed to increasing the guide's motivation towards performance, which contributed to learning scouting course skills. Accordingly, it was recommended to use competitive exercises to learn other scouting skills.
