The Effect of the Listening Triangle Strategy on Improving the Performance of Dribbling Skill in Handball among Middle School Students
Main Article Content
Abstract
The research aims to develop educational units using the "Listening Triangle" strategy in teaching handball tapping skill to fourth-grade middle school students. The researcher used the experimental method as appropriate for the nature of the research and applied it to fourth-grade middle school students. The sample included 60 students who were randomly divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group, with 30 students in each group. The methodology used with the "Listening Triangle" strategy was applied to the experimental group, while the traditional method was used in the control group. The researcher concluded that the "Listening Triangle" strategy led to a significant improvement in the performance of the tapping skill compared to the traditional method, due to the activation of student interaction and role exchange. The researcher recommended applying the "Listening Triangle" strategy in teaching the tapping skill and other defensive skills such as covering in handball and other team games.
