Abstract

The research aimed to identify some biodynamic variables in the 400-meter men's event. The researchers employed a descriptive approach, utilizing the survey method, to suit the nature of the research and the objectives of the current study. The research sample consisted of young players in the 400-meter event from the southern region. The researchers concluded that the variables that were studied, represented by the body's center of gravity, have the greatest effect on achieving the achievement in the 400-meter event. Accordingly, it was recommended to emphasize the biomechanical requirements during the 400-meter race from the beginning of the race through the four intermediate distances until the end of the race
