A comparative study of some growth variables and mobility characteristics between countrysid and urban students for the intermediate stage in Basra Governorate

Abstract

Research aims at comparing certain physical measurements such as height and weight, as well as comparing some motor characteristics such as response speed and balance for middle school students between the countryside and the city , the importance of research lies in knowing the differences in certain motor and physical traits and the reasons behind them where the human field guarantees middle school students for each of the Al-saiey middle school in the Al-Ashar area Which is considered the center of the city and the center of Saeed bin Jubair in the area of ​​Abu Al-Khasib, which is considered the outskirts of Basra Governorate.The research included the researcher's use of the descriptive method by the Christian method to solve the research problem

The research also included testing height, weight, response speed and balance on a total sample of 80 students, 40 students from the Al- saiey school in Ashar and 40 students from saeed bin jubair in Abu Al-khasib where the results were presented, analyzed and discussed, and the degree of correlation between the research variables was shown  The researcher recommended the need for attention and development of the growth variables and kinetic qualities of countryside and urban students, which is the responsibility of the School of Physical Education  to be interested in developing this important aspect of the student.Finally, the researcher emphasized the necessity of disseminate sports culture among different age groups in society.
