Abstract

The aim of the research was to reveal the effect of the P-D-E-O-D-E strategy in developing a positive attitude towards the lesson among students. The researchers used the experimental method. The research sample was randomly selected, as Section (A) represented the experimental group, which was taught according to the P-D-E-O-D-E strategy. As for the control group, it was taught according to the followed strategy. A pre-measurement of the attitude variable towards the lesson was conducted. After the experiment was completed, a post-test was conducted for the two groups by photographing the sample for the purpose of evaluating them by experts, based on a special observation form to evaluate the skills of the scout camp. A post-measurement of the attitude variable was also conducted. After collecting and transcribing the data, it was statistically processed and conclusions were reached, the most important of which are: The P-D-E-O-D-E strategy and the followed strategy had an effect in developing the attitude towards the scout camp lesson. The researchers recommended emphasizing the use of the P-D-E-O-D-E strategy because it contains steps to enhance the thinking and analysis processes of the academic material by the learner.
