The effect of role-playing strategy on improving the level of motivation and learning some volleyball skills of high school students

Abstract
This study aimed to identify the effect of using a role-playing strategy on improving the level of motivation and learning some volleyball skills among first-year high school pupils, and to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the experimental approach to design the two equal groups of pre- and post-measurement for the academic season 2019/2020, at Didosh Mourad High School. Tiaret - The study sample included (40) students, who were divided into two equal groups of (20) students. The first was an experimental study using a role-playing strategy, and the second was a control officer who was studying in a demonstration method. As a tool for data collection, the researcher used a special form for the motivation scale and physical and skill tests. In volleyball, the results showed that there are significant differences and a positive effect for learning using a role-playing strategy (simulation) compared to the demonstration in the research variables. The researcher also recommends conducting further studies to demonstrate the effect of the role-playing strategy on developing other psychological and social characteristics and on samples and different educational levels.
