Abstract

The aim of the research was to evaluate the training courses held in the Preparation and Training Department in Basra Education. The researcher used the descriptive approach using the survey method to suit the nature of the research. The research sample was the male and female teachers newly appointed in the General Directorate of Education in Basra. The researcher relied on applying a scale that measures (quality of training performance) within a set of axes. The researcher concluded from the results the quality of training performance and the efficiency of those in charge of the training process, in terms of methods and the impact of training, The researcher recommends the necessity of taking the results of the research into account, and opening a continuous communication window between the Preparation and Training Department and faculty members, to provide them with everything new from the gains of modern science.
