Abstract

The research aimed to build and apply a scale of the reality of advertising and publishing in sports tourism within the (Gulf 25) Championship from the point of view of media professionals. The researchers used the descriptive approach to suit the nature of the research. The research community consists of workers in sports media in the Gulf 25 Football Championship. The sample was chosen intentionally and consisted of media professionals participating in the Gulf 25 Championship held in Iraq, Basra Governorate, numbering 600 media professionals. The researchers adopted a scale of the reality of advertising and publishing for sports tourism within the Gulf 25 Championship. The researchers concluded that promoting sports tourism through advertising and publishing plays a major and prominent role in directing and educating the masses about tourist attractions and tourist gatherings during the Gulf 25 Championship. Accordingly, the recommendation was to provide specialized programs to train workers in sports media on how to innovate and design modern advertising advertisements to attract large numbers of tourists
