Variation of genetic variants of ACE and its relationship to some physical abilities of air pistol shooters
Main Article Content
Abstract
The aim of the research was to identify the physical abilities according to the genetic diversity of the ACE gene for air pistol shooters. The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical approach using the comparison method to suit the problem and nature of the research. The sample of the research was the players of the Iraqi Central Federation Youth Team in the air pistol event. The researcher determined the most important physical measurements (morphology). Before all that, preparations were made and the appropriate procedures for measuring the gene (ACE) were determined. The researcher concluded that choosing the sample according to the genetic formation leads to easy access to the higher levels and achieving a clear achievement. She also recommended conducting similar studies using exercises according to genetic genes on other weapons (foil, rifle, bow and arrow).
