Main Article Content
Abstract
The research aims to: - Identify the learning patterns and methods and academic compatibility among students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. The researcher used a descriptive approach for its suitability with the objectives of the study, as the research community represents students of the College of Physical Education at the University of Mosul for the academic year (2022-2023), and their number reached (736) male and female students who were distributed over four academic stages. The researcher adopted two tools for the study: (the scale of learning patterns and methods prepared by (Entostel) which was Arabized by Mahmoud Awadallah (1988), and the scale of academic compatibility by (Al-Ziyadi, 1964) which was updated and modified by Al-Junaidi Jabari (1985)), and the researcher came out with several conclusions, the most important of which is: the absence of a significant correlation between learning methods among students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences and their academic compatibility. In light of the conclusions, the researcher recommended diversifying and organizing educational content, tools, devices and educational means in a way that contributes to creating academic compatibility that would provide students with diverse and new learning methods.
