Main Article Content
Abstract
The aim of the research is to identify the effect of( TRX )exercises to develop agility and speed of defensive movements to cover the quick attack for youth handball players. As for the methodology in the research, the experimental method was used to suit the nature of the problem studied. The research sample is a group of Maysan Oil Club handball players, numbering (23) players (100%), and they were divided into two groups (control) and (experimental) by lottery, with (7) players for each group. The researchers concluded that TRX exercises led to the development of agility and speed of defensive movements to cover the quick attack for players in the experimental group of youth handball players. The researchers also recommended paying attention to developing agility and speed of defensive movements to cover the quick attack in youth handball.
